I've been trying to put a pic in my signature but it isn't working.  Can someone help me out.  Is there a special format needed?  Does it have to be accessible from a webpage or something with the http://?   HELP!

Hey redtalon,

I dont think its your script, I think its Yahoo. Depending on where you have stored your image, you may need to sign in ( Yahoo clubs ) to see it. Unfortunately the board doesn't know how to do that so you have to store it somewhere where everybody ( non Yahoo members ) can see it. I tried to look at the location on Yahoo that you specified and couldnt find the image, maybe you have removed it ?.  Luckily a friend of mine offered to host my logo on his site. Maybe you should try asking around, see if anyone will host it for you. Hope that helps.

Almost... but not quite all.

Several aeons ago, when BEHAVIOR was still active, a folder was created for The Cabal's little playthings. It's still there, and still has some interesting files... but nothing new has been placed there in over two years.

The long-term intent was to allow people to store images for reuse in the Fora... but none of The Cabal wanted the grief of keeping the folder maintained. Another great idea dead of atrophy; these days I can't log on to the BEA server with any FTP app I own, so there's nothing I can do about it.

Relying on AngleFire isn't a good long-term solution either; it's likely they'll block off-site linking someday, just like their better-known rivals do now. This place really should be able to do better. Ideally the BEA would mount a folder where people could upload sig/joke/smilie pix, which a moderator of some type would allow and make visible or remove. Once the files were allowed into the open, anyone could point to them in a Forum post, but they'd be locked down from anywhere outside the BEA.

Just don't expect me to help make it happen. I already bought my own folder.

Hmm... would be nice if there was a place for storing the stuff...

but for now angelfire will do... and if they can it there's always the option of continuing to move. Been doing it for years anyway.
