I want to see the Alabama/Auburn rematch in the bowl game.  Maybe even in the championship game.  Ohio State is losing now and Duke is hanging with Florida State at the end of the 1st quarter.

On behalf of all of Seattle, we wish to thank the 49ers for keeping the Ospreys from the sin of pride.

There were a couple of spectacular plays, and the 49ers were able to capitalize on them, 19-17.

Frank Gore has given new life to geezers.  ;)

With Michigan State upsetting Ohio State, Auburn winning comfortably over Missouri and Florida State destroying Duke, the BCS championship game will be between FSU and Auburn. Let the hype begin !  ;D

Well, in spite of their loss they are in the playoffs with a inside track of home field advantage. You  must be in great agony about such turn of events.  ;) ;D

Drat, now it's 12-2.

Today the score would have been the same whether the Giants showed up or not.

Congrats to Peyton Manning who was named Sports Illustrated's athlete of the year.Which means he was on the cover.Which means there is no way in hell the Broncos are going to win the Super Bowl.
Don't believe me?
Tony Romo was on the SI cover 3 weeks ago.Since then, the Cowboys are 1 and 2.They barely beat a crappy Redskins team, the Bears scored 5 straight times to beat them and the Packers had the biggest comeback in their history when they defeated the Cowboys. That's saying something considering how old that franchise is.
On top of that,Romo was injured last week and might not play this Sunday.
I'm telling you when it comes to football players, the SI cover jinx lives!

Well, we are 7 - 5 now. The most interesting game this weekend for this Cowboys fan will be the Arizona - Philadelphia game. Both teams have to win in order to remain in the playoff hunt and a loss, while not fatal, could put a world of hurt to either one. As far as I'm concerned, the playoff season has already started. So many teams are in the hunt for a spot and losses could be fatal for their chances. About that Sports Illustrated cover .... it usually means bad luck.  :'(

I wish Obama would do something actually useful like send a drone and wipe out the headquarters of  Sports Illustrated ....  :'(

Well, my Football season is over. Dallas lost 24 - 22 to Philadelphia. I just hope New Orleans trounces Philly.  :(

I hope we beat Philadelphia, but we're only 3-5 on the road this season.  8-0 in the dome...Wish we had gotten home field advantage...

For those who haven't decided to root for in the playoffs, here's a handy chart:
rtpoe

The snapping of pitch from a burning log,
The faint scent of pine filling the room.
Flames leaping about as if it were a ballet
Performing for its audience.
The soft, comforting glow of candlelight,
Bringing with it serenity and quiet thoughts.
