Link reminded me of Those Who Hunt Elves (that series is such a comedy classic! ) and Burn Up W/Burn Up Excess which also fit in to this regarding the excess fan service.

Though Those Who Hunt Elves technically doesn't fit 'excess', it comes close IMO due to the core of the story (I won't give it away: you'll crack up the first time you see it done and you'll know what I'm talking about   ). Burn Up W/X definately fits the though given it's pretty much fan service all the way with all of it's female characters.

Ha, there was never any trouble getting in in the past.  I"m sure it's just because I posted the url here today.That's ok, it's my page so no harm done.Just keep trying.It's a bunch of animated GIFs -- mostly Mii, but other girls as well. I NOMINATE THIS SEQUENCE FOR BEST BOOB BOUNCE IN ANY ANIME!  Mii's big dance in OAV 3, the one that climaxes with her chest leaping foreward to astonishing size before her whole body grows to tower over the city...------ Anyone care to contest this?(Also see the attachment!  It's a different one!)

I'm not sure there /is/ a manga.  JDI was a Gainax project, manga's always a secondary concideration with them and I don't think that particular OVA was terrably popular.  I could be wrong since I don't actually /work/ for them, but to my knowledge they didn't make one.

I searched for this... I really don't think there is a manga.  Unless, of course, you count doujinshi (unofficial/hentai) manga.. which I don't , because that's not my kind of thing.

Simple: animation is not just 'for kids.'  That's the attitude I don't understand; I saw the South Park movie in a theater half full of pre-school age kids.  They were warned before the movie; they had all left before the end of the opening song.  Why didn't they avoid the film?  "It's a cartoon!"

Sadly, it's not the kids' faults, Warlock. I'm betting the majority of those pre-schoolers had been brought there by the parents, and that the parents had chosen the movie...
