Hi Melonie, Wow, I can't even imagine me as a DDD. Yikes.  I can see the logic in approaching this from a matter of skin elasticiy.  Makes perfect sense.

I also want to be sure to see a surgeon who has lots of ex perience in placing larger implants.  I think retaining my shape(as much as possible) and outcome (speedy recovery) will depend on the surgeons expertise.  Do you agree?

Thank you for debunking the 'workout myth' Melonie.  So are you more partial to saline then since silicone cannot be adjusted in size, ie: overfilling?  I currently have silicone implanted submuscular and they have remained perky until this last year.  Which means I usually do flys, chest presses, and pushups at home not in the gym.  I have no idea about  placement with larger implants and how that works.  There really isn't much information on this issue and larger implants at implantinfo.com

Hey Dochuge, I would love to talk to Tracy about her BA!  Can I PM her about it?  Would she mind that?  I will take your advice about getting used to them quickly as first hand knowledge  Is that accurate?

Melonie is a treasure trove of fantastic information.  I appreciate her input as well as yours.  Thank you

M'lady,

From what I have read from the other ladies particularly Vixen, you may want over the muscle implants for the next run.

Vixen related a story with her second set I believe, where the set, around 800cc, were put under the muscle by the insistence of the doc at that time.  It caused her a great amount of pain.  She went to a new doc (her current one) and he placed them over the muscle and relieved her pain and did a better job.

From that story (contact Vixen for better info) I would say that the next set should be overs.

I can only relate what I've read.

AspiringDD,

Just a quickie suggestion.

When SandCat started visiting plastic surgeons she was also concerned that they would not give her the 1000cc's that she wanted. So she began buying larger bra sizes and she made homemade rice implants that approximated the size and weight of the real ones. When she went to see the surgeons they saw that she had already become confortable with the size and weight they were not as concerned with making a mistake in giving her what she said she wanted.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I also tried one set of implants placed under the muscle (my old set of 2500cc).  These were a constant source of pain and discomfort whenever I used my upper body muscles, and I again had my last set of string implants placed over the muscle.  Over the muscle placement also results in a much speedier recovery since the pec muscles do not have to be cut and traumatized.

In regard to saline versus silicone, this is somewhat a question of personal preference.  However, the selection of "larger" off the shelf silicone implants is limited (to typically 650cc I think).  Also with "larger" implants, the ability to add more firmness by overfilling a saline implant can help counteract the forces of gravity, whereas silicone implants are just going to "hang there".  This can be an important difference when the implants are placed over the muscle such that there is no muscle tissue covering the outer implant surface to help lend support.

Hi Cutter,  Thank you! I will go look for Vixen's story regarding her under/over experience.  Sounds a bit scary though.

Hi BE Bard  Wow, thats very ingenious and sounds like it was convincing also.  Did she go out in public wearing the rice implants?  Do they look like normal breasts?  I wear alot of Tshirts, if you know what I mean.  Thank you for the suggestion.

Hi Melonie

Support was the main reason why I went with unders my first time. Gravity and its toll is a HUGE concern for me.  I love the feel of my silicone implants too.  And deflation is also a concern with Saline.  A friend of my sisters had that happen.  I would just die if that happened to me. Especially since trying to come up with more money to have a deflated implant replaced would be difficult. Did you have any other smaller implants under the muscle?  And if so did they create problems as well? I guess I need to alter my plan then and go with overs.

Yes, she did wear them outside the house but not on an everyday basis. They looked pretty realistic but keep in mind that the weather was colder and she wore baggy sweatshirts and bulky coats most of the time. The implants were mainly for the benefit of the doctor so that he would know the look SandCat was going for and to ease his mind vis-a-vis using a larger size implant. He was very honest and told us after the surgery that had SandCat not worn the homemade implants he would have tried to discourage her from going as large as she did.

Thank you BE Bard.  The weather here is getting a bit warm, but maybe I could do this same kind of thing with silicone enhancers, I think they only give you one or two cup size increase.   Not sure if I could find any big enough to convince the Dr. though

Hi Scotchman, If you are out there I was wondering if you could help me again.  Your list of the ladies' posts has been very good research material.  I know it must have been a lot of compilation work.  I appreciate it very much.  However, I can not access Bambi's posts through the link you provided.  That link also seems to bring up Keisha's posts.  Would you be able to fix that for me?  Thank you in advance for any reply.
