When the Just Shoot Me! wardrobe department gave Laura certain tops, even her most professional co-stars had to work hard to stick to the script.

This great pair of a great pair was first posted nearly 10 years ago, overdue for re-posting.  This is an example of the fine work T_Man did by playing with the contrast, and I think it's as close as we'll get to the naked truth.  I've always been amused by the photographers in the background; even when they aim their cameras elsewhere, they can't turn their eyes away from LSG's sweet sweater meat, praying that she'll swing them back around.

I thought I'd pair the above pic with another of T_Man's excellent old contrast/saturation x-ray visions of LSG, always at her finest in white. She's NIPPLEICIOUS!  (Looks like she found a sturdier bra in the photo on the left.)

Some actors used a clever visualization trick in order to focus where they were supposed to focus while shooting a scene.  It saved a lot of retakes and even the occasional slap.

Before you go digging in the attic for the VCR and searching Ebay for videotapes, I assure you that the VHS version of "Quigley Down Under" has no more topless scenes than the DVD or streaming versions, which is to say, none.  It's just that they were apparently more creative at packaging product back in the day. I had to buy it, of course, just in case...

Loved that movie when it came out. It is great fun and Laura  has a continuous gag in which she constantly calls Selleck's character " Roy " and he says, " It's not Roy ! ".

It's a little hard to tell that it's her, but this is an actual shot of LSG from her first big film, "Sex, Lies, and Videotape." I wonder if that actor  thinks of this scene and wishes it had been made about 10 years later, when Laura's post-motherhood growth spurt would have really given him something to push his face into. (BTW This is apparently from a foot fetish site. Isn't it bizarre how some people can totally obsess over certain parts of the female anatomy?  )

LSG in 1994, 2 years before MILF-hood, and 3 before Just Shoot Me, which means about 4 or 5 before every male who watched that show wished she would still do poses like this one. (There would be some serious overflow.) This was a promo one-page in some fashion mag, promoting her film, Nina Takes a Lover, and if you read the fine print, it says she's wearing a "bustier by Wendy McCauley and shorts by Diapositive/Ron Ross." I don't know about that, but I do know that in a few years her look would definitely be BUSTIER - by Laura San Giacomo. Totally.

^ 10 years later, Laura wondered why George Segal was always asking when she was going to wear that bustier again. (Take a close look at his eyes and tell me he isn't thinking about spilling that drink forward.)

I always suspected that David Spade paid the writers to now and then include one of these "inspection" scenes.
