Thanks, solvegas.  I know this clip is frustrating because it cuts off just as it starts to get real good, but I included every frame of the view from this angle.  After this they cut to a useless long distance shot for the rest of the run.  If the director was smart enough, after filming he could have said, "That was great, but let's do one more take, and this time, Laura, lose the coat."  And they would have aired the version we see. while he'd save the other for private parties.  Or maybe I just expect directors to think like me.

While it's great to see Laura's loads in motion, the above gif is so short that it's almost easier to appreciate how much she carried in screenshots. I bet LSG won every close race she ran by hitting the finish line several inches ahead of the competition.

Odd Fact: There's an episode in the final season of Just Shoot Me! whose description in the DVD set (and every time it's aired on cable or antenna TV) says something like, "Finch's dream comes true when he has a hot date with Maya." NOTHING like this happens or is even referenced or joked about in that show. The rest of the description of the other plot lines are accurate (about Nina or Jack or whatever), so it isn't a mistaken summary of a different episode. I've no idea what that's about, unless there was something in the original script that was cut, whether filmed or not, and that somehow remained in the summary. Or maybe they just did it to drive obsessive fans like me crazy, those of us who would definitely like to have seen Finch on a "date" with Maya!

Another curious JSM! moment: Brooke Shields guest-starred as Nina's sister in season 5, and Finch ended up seducing her.  These pics are from the very end of the show, where Shields suddenly breaks out of character, saying, "Stop! This is ridiculous. No one's going to believe this. I mean, look at me and look at him," and she hops out of bed. The camera pulls back to show the whole set and Laura comes on, as herself, and says, "I know. Spade pays the writers to write scenes like this. Last year it was with two lesbians." Shields replies, sort of sneering, "I don't really watch the show," and as she walks off, Laura follows and says, "He once had them write a dream sequence where I had to..." then it fades out. Pretty unusual for a sit-com to break the fourth-wall like that.
