Q's about video and Customer Service Center
« on: February 13, 2002, 05:24:00 PM »
It's good to see that a streaming provider has been added back.

Assuming that the earlier thread mentioning access bugs has been worked out, I had a question or two.  With Influx, they were actually putting out more and more clips (as you could find out from their website) but these clips were never making it to the browsable ones through our interface.  Is that going to be a problem with this feeder as well?  In the past, was that Owner's fault or Influx's and does this provider carry the same caveat?

Also, about the CSC...I submitted a mail quite a few days ago about reopening my old account ID, instead of coming up with a new one to log into member areas.  That's not an option in the CSC, although, I can still give 3 pieces of info and find my account which shows that it is currently disabled/dead...  Are dead accounts cleared or is there any way to reactivate them?

Just curious...

Hi Juggler was that mail sent to [email protected]? If so I probably overlooked it and will dig for it to see if i can help you out.

As to the streams, We don't control the updates but if they wish for customers to keep paying for them then they will update them.

From what i understand Influx just dissapeared one day taking everything with them and leaving everyone high and dry.

Thanks, Imaginos.  I'm not sure which e-mail address I sent it to...but it could quite possibly be [email protected] used the online "Technical Trouble Submission Form" at the CSC (it might have gone to [email protected]).  The form only has a "submit" button and there's no discussion of whose address that goes to.

most likely it went to the last address and not the first.

Send a mail to the first describing the problem in detail and that will get to me   I will then foward it and pester them.
