That series of Rosalie Strauss is wonderful and an exercise by John Kirk in rapid-fire photography. Over the years I've tried to put together the entire sequence, but I have not yet succeeded. I once asked Rosalie about it; she didn't remember the jump-rope series. Drat.

I was going to post another one of those Rosalie Strauss jumping rope pix... she's in mid-jump so the bouncy bits are right in the middle of their arc... very nice. However, I ran across this mostly-profile shot of Sabine Demois whom I've always been a fan of. Some might consider her features a bit too sharp, but to me, that kind of face (especially with a shorter haircut) contrasts and compliments a curvy, feminine form nicely.

No doubt today, a pic like this would be photoshopped to death, removing every little mark and wrinkle. Thank GOODNESS we don't have to endure more of THAT nonsense in this particular image: I enjoy her AS pictured... i.e.: having a semblance of reality.
