I've watched Nigella's half-hour show on Food Network now & then for the past few months. I don't pay much attention to her recipes which seem to have a lot of expensive ingredients. She herself has some remarkable ingredients that did get my attention! It was every Sunday at 1 p.m., then about a month ago, it was no longer aired. You've seen a "trailer" for a new show? So, maybe she has cooked up an even more tantalizing presentation of her attributes going through the many motions of preparing for dinner guests. I hope so. Those slow turning and rotating moves of her stirring and mixing are highly educational. She sure does accommodate the cameraman's interest in illustrating the blending techniques with as many profile views of her as possible!
The dish she has whipped together is always so irresistable that, at the end of every episode, she has to steal out to the kitchen 'fridge in the middle of the night in her bedroom robe and dip her finger into it and lick it off her finger.
The Food Network recently put on a gala awards ceremony in front of live audience, where everyone appeared not in kitchen garb but in evening dress. Nigella came out in a noticeably low-cut evening gown revealing that she is even more endowed with culinary abundance than is apparent in those food demo shows. Maybe that's where the producers decided that they need to kick it up a notch, as Emeril likes to say.
