It's a boy!
« on: May 14, 2002, 10:21:59 PM »
Now that I have successfully updated my family, work can now begin on ~shasta- the webzine. Expect regular updates in the coming weeks. Baby Ryan was born this afternoon at 2:26. Ten fingers and ten toes. What more could a proud father ask for?

Great news, Sheber!  Oh, yeah, congrats on the baby boy, too. <jk>

Honestly, congratulations on the progeny.  I hope that one day I can experience all that you will, good and not so good.

Thank you, one and all! My first born is relishing his time as a big brother right now. (We'll see how much he likes it when lil' bro wants to tag along in upcoming years, but I digress) All I would like is ten hours **82** in a row right about now.....

To Sheber: congrats!  When I first became a dad, our newborn only **84** about 2 hrs. at a time, until about 3 months old, then all of a sudden **84** 9-10 hours a night! Has ever since! Hope you get some relief soon. We also had no room for ice cream in the freezer, it was full of mother goodness stashed in baby bottles, but that's another story . . .

Just promise us the following things:
1. He will be allowed to play with supersoakers, nerf guns, dodgeballs, and other fun childhood toys.
2. He can watch kickass cartoons and play cool video games when he's a **22** to teen.
3. He can spell Schwartzenegger, Stalone, Snipes, Van Damme, and Dwayne by the time he's 9.
4. He avoids MTV, Disney channel, and most Nickelodeon programming, and will have a diet of Sci-fi, Comedy Central, all the learning and arts channels, and Cartoon Network. (And if you want ESPN, and an intelligent news channel....well, they might exist)
5. He respects all body types and doesn't tease girls when they develop.
6. He is taught the "weenies" of politics.
7. He will avoid the teenage "divabitches"
8. He will get religion of some kind as a background. (Hell, I'm doing the same one day with my [censored] , I won't like the whole church thing, but it'll work out better any kid has some background)
9. He does not live in California...two [censored] just got sentanced for spitball shooting.
10. Most importantly: He learns to respect the classic true spirit of Christmas movie: Die Hard.

J Yippie Kay-YAY Motherfucker!!!!! -okay enough of my stupidity.
I will remove the stick out of the world's ass.

Congrats Sheber! My first born was a real heavy sleeper, the second boy rarely sleeps, and yells all day long!! Something to look forward too! Well done, the best to you and your family.
