Another random and rather accidental camera car capture in a remote suburb of London, England.
I really just picked an insignificant street to start looking around (looking at traffic roundabouts) and stumbled upon her after about two clicks. Turns out the camera car was moving rather fast so the frames to either side of this are so far away that she is hardly discernible and in one she was turned looking away. This view is already fully zoomed and with the blurring, distance and other off camera effects it is not that clear.
It is funny how the blur algorithm will obscure things like handbags, random sections of wall, or the occasional advertisement.
Note: I did run a sharpen filter and upped the contrast to help improve the image.
I came back and manually searched for the same stretch of road and found it
8 years later. It seems Google has scrubbed and replaced the segment of road that affords the best images of this busty pedestrian. They simply replaced the frames near her with photos of that same stretch from the previous month that year.
So, you can't get to that surprising image anymore. If one digs around in the database, a remnant series of images gets the camera car within about 30 meters. That year also does not continue in the stretch of road beyond the woman. They are actually removed them. Google does routinely scrub out images that are of this nature and it appears they found her.
Luckily I randomly found her first and preserved it.
