For all we know, the Mighty Purple Robot may have given up morphing for lent or been hit by a bus (probably not, as I think a bus wouldn't fare well in such a collision). I prefer to think that he's just taking a break, perhaps busy with some other project(s) and that we might all enjoy the presence of his company (as well as his fantastic obsession with JLH and his posts sometimes so witty that they've made me inhale hot coffee into my sinuses more than once) at some point in the future.
