I didn't claim there shouldn't be other comics, just trying to explain why there are so few BE comics. I doubt anyone would complain about having more comics. Especially in this case, more is always better.
I've done comics before. In fact it seems that several people have mentioned me in this thread. I could help or give some advice, but I shouldn't commit to anything regular- I already have several webcomics.
The first thing you really need to do is to pick an artist (or two, if that's the case). Then you need to choose exactly who is writing. You could have a team of people that jointly do everything, or split up the different jobs. One person writes the basic plot, one the actual story, and the third write the dialog (after viewing the art). It would be best if you had several people, each doing one aspect of the comic. Writing, art, lettering, html. An assembly line would work if you want to update M-W-F.
It's best to figure out who's doing what before you start deciding what you're doing to do. The artist is very important, because certain styles (like anime) work best with certain kinds of stories.
