PeEVEed page 17
« on: July 26, 2002, 05:26:01 AM »
I'm also continuing to remodel the site a few pages at a time.  Varchild's gallery now has a new slick dark color scheme, and the PeEVEed pages are "sort of" new.  I hadn't intended to change the pages for PeEVEed yet, but I accidently deleted the previous version with this new version.  So, this is what is there now... which still needs a little work... and Wolf's approval.

The main page is also new.  It's much smaller, but it might need some color.

I might have missed something, I uploaded a few pages which I haven't really looked over well enough.  Beware missing graphics.

Yay, another update!  Thanks, LF!

Curious, though, if you're trying to implement some new technical jargon?  'whipping the hard drive clean' is a new one on me.

Good stuff, Lightfoot, good stuff, as always.

Oh, by the way, I just had this really neat idea for a picture: Pulse is a sci-fi comic, correct? Well, I got two words for you: alternate universes. I think it would be really cool to see a bunch of Annies from alternate universes posing together for a group photo. And each Annie would growing in a different way: One could be incredibly muscular, one could have a huge butt, one could be about 10 feet tall, one could be amazingly fat, and so on. ("Classic Annie" would be there too, of course.) You could call it "Annies of Many Worlds."

Man, you'd think that with an imagination like mine, I'd be able to draw the things I think up!

Like this? Or maybe more like this?

Except, you know, with big boobs and stuff.

I particularly liked her slowly sliding down below the desk. And her line about going down.

Reminded me of my all-time favorite Knights of the Dinner Table strip, where Dave passes out cold and in his stupor starts quoting lines that panicked people have said in fairly famous stories. "Auntie Em! Auntie Em!" from Wizard of Oz. "There's a dog loose in the wood!" from Watership Down. And "One tin soldier ran away!" from The Tin Soldier by, err, that danish guy whose name I forget, starts with an H, wrote The Little Mermaid. Grr. Anyway, him. Yeah. That's what I had going through my mind when I read the new page.

Sorta, yeah. Only each Annie would be in a different pose: Muscle-Annie would be flexing, Mainstream-Annie would be showing off her breasts, Really-Really-Tall-Annie would be towering in the background, etc. (Come to think of it, it'd be closer to Lightfoot's "Busty Fictional Females" group pic.)

Seelie, I think the the author's name you're looking for is Hans Christan Anderson.I too have see that KotDT strip and think it is very funny.Thought, Eve's sliding desk escape instead reminded me of a Dilbert comic where an ambitious employee perfected the desk slide to avoid beeing seen with the other employees when the managment comes by.

Haven't you ever hear of that before.  "Whipping" is a common term.    It's just a typo.  There are everywhere on the site and in the comics... I just saw one today in the links that I have to fix.  They infest the site just like purple colored "visted" links.

Wolf wrote all of the lines on this page, and on almost all of the pages.  I think that this entire section of the story (the "work" part) is all from him.

A bunch of Annie's?  That could be interesting for a future comic.  Maybe she has to try to rally them to fight together.

A fat Pulse?  I'm not sure.  She-male Pulse... I really doubt it.  The closest may be Annie turned to male (in another situation).  And you didn't mention a shrinking Pulse... or pregnant.

A German reader asked at one point for a picture of Annie at her natural size beside herself at full size.

I finished drawing the next page today (still needs dialog from Wolf), so it'll make the Thursday update.  I also have something else special I'm working on.

Who said anything about a She-Male Pulse?
