I miss the 80's and 90's

When I saw that image my memory pinged and it just did not look right.
So, being me, I had to do some more research on it as there was something about it that just did not jive with what I recalled from the late 1980's.
Discovery:The image that became the "California Girls" poster is a
cropped and
modified image.
They
removed the fourth woman at the far right, air brushed in a new background and fixed a few other flaws. She was removed to fit the vertical format of the poster and her pose was redundant.
The original image was taken in 1988 on the roof a building / studio most likely by photographer Kal Yee.
The youngest props in the image are actually the bike gloves which were a new style of Louis Garneau at the time, circa 1987-1988. The bikes are modified Jeffery Bock Mixte originally from 1977, however the horizontal handlebars place them in the mid-80's. The pump is actually an early 80's camping dual chamber model used mostly to inflate rafts and other such camping items and not even a bike pump per say. The cropped woman is using an actual bike pump.
It is cool to see this old image again.
