Well at least it's not of the "Performance" line put out by InterACT. I mean I once bought a battery pack from them for my GBC (the GBC was a gift, I don't make a habit of buying transitional period Nintendo game platforms). The pack was pretty dead a few months after purchase and it spent very little time actually being used. Even the AC cable that came with it was dead a short while after that. However, the couple of Nyko products that I own (Worm Light and their AC adaptor) are damn reliable, but that's what one SHOULD expect from SIMPLE (read, not file compressing memory cards or "mod chip" memory cards) 3rd party accessories. Heck, I leave the AC adapter plugged in for much longer than I probably should and it's still kicking. The worm light is always used when playing due to the fact that I tend to play while sitting in bed at night.
