To go off topic, the actor who played W.C. Fields in "Rocketeer" was fantastic.  So many bad impressions out there. He absolutely nailed Fields' muttering. It's a very fun movie. Fantastic art direction and Alan Arkin is always a pleasure

I totally agree with Palomine in that some perspective is in order. Lamenting that Jennifer Connelly or someone else who exhibited such dramatic figure changes and comparing that to 25+ years ago is a bit unfair... as it would be for anyone. There are some who are able to look good or better over time and others that do not... that is just life. It happens to all of us.

So what that JC has lost most of her curves or is shockingly anorexic-like in appearance? We can pine for her old self but that is her life.
So what that JLH has plumped up with her recent and late-in-life pregnancy? In my eyes it makes her more human and less a Hollywood fabrication.
Even Kithara has not remained static... and that is not any reality-distortion field.

Being a robot does help with the process although.

I also agree with Palomine.  Anyone of us would jump at the chance to hit on one of the models/**28** that we lust after here, even if it is 10 years from now.

I remember a buddy of mine who told me about meeting Jacklyn Smith at a store in LA a few years back. He was, "Hey she's older now (she was about 50)and she isn't as hot as when I was in college, but damn, she's Charlies Angels, so I hit on her"  She turned him down flat, but still, he tried.

W/O going into details, I've had the opportunity to meet quite a few former semi-celebs lately... women who used to be Playmates, models, in porn, or B/C/D-level actresses. Some of them "peaked" professionally more than 20 years ago... most appeared on/in shows, movies, magazines, etc... that were popular between that late 80s through the early oughts, Not a one of them looks exactly like they used to. Yet even those that have changed the most: gone from centerfold and/or primetime TV eye candy all the way the semi-frumpy middle-aged hausfrau... even they were still considerably cuter than average (IMO). It's especially common for inexperienced and superficial y0unger guys to think that any gal who looks like she might be over 25 to be "too old" and any looking over 30 to be a "MILF" (w/over-40 qualifying as GILF  ) but of course, that's just the ignorance of y0uth talking (yah, yah... each to his own, etc... blah blah blah   ) and they imagine that their own y0uth entitles them to judge others (especially women who use their looks professionally, at least in part) so critically.

I can say with confidence and from experience that if y0ung guys feel the same way when they're 20 years older (and hopefully wiser) it's kinda pathetic (again IMO). Sure, any 40ish fella can lust after teenagers exclusively if that's his thing... I just find it sorta silly and think it reflects poorly on the guy doing the lusting, that's all.

I would totally eat a sandwich with Jennifer Connelly.
