Pal, your instincts are spot on. That shoot appeared in Gent almost exactly 20 years earlier. The featured model in that issue was Debee Ashby (as she was spelling her name then) in one of her first U.S. appearances.

Whew, this girl kept one step ahead of the Polish KGB fer sure.   My guess is she was eastern European (from the look of some bathware in a few of her pictures), thus the Poland hook.  The Sofi is a name I've not seen before.  The usual names are the last two, Regina and Magdalena, with Magdalena Aleman showing up more frequently, thus her real name or her chosen stage name? Perhaps.

Here's what we do know.  She was built!
