Well, here in the USA we use e for veins, but it might be different in the UK. As for the a, it just isn't right as far as I know.

Vain and vein are sound-alike words with different meanings, or a type of homonym.

Vain can mean ineffectual or having no effect (He tried in vain to get her to notice him) or conceited, showy, or worthlessly proud of oneself (She was so vain she kept looking at herself in the mirror, instead of at him).  And in our above context a vein is a blood vessel, carrying oxygen-poor blood back to the heart, which so many of us long to see gently caressing breast skin with their blue tint.  Their blood seems cooler to me when running my nose along one (venous blood, not arterial blood coming from the warm heart) but that has nothing to do with homonyms.

Homonyms are fun (break (destroy) brake (stop), whole (complete) hole (cavity in the ground), punch (a hole), punch (a person), breastwork (a defensive fort of moderate height), breastwork (what we all want to be doing right now)) and important to get right (If you break the brake, you cannot stop, etc).

In a lot of language there are such words which makes it difficult for foreign persons even with autocorrection it makes sometimes even more mistakes.

Also words with different meanings in relation to the context makes it difficult.
In German a really good example of this is "umfahren" cause it can mean: "drive around something or someone" or "run someone/something over"

I am reminded of President John F. Kennedy in a speech in Germany to a German audience saying "Ich bin ein Berliner" which (if I am spelling everything correctly) was supposed to mean, and evoke, something like "I am from Berlin" to show camaraderie with all of Germany; instead it was translated by actual German speakers (not a US President's speechwriter) as something like "I am a type of pastry" because berliner meant something different (like a doughnut in the US) if you were a native German speaker in Berlin...

Words are always fun, and autocorrect is not smart enough (yet) to "know what we want to say".
