What, exactly, is there to say? I think you've already covered it fully.

I already made my donation to the Red Cross at a table set up in a local mall (gave them $100.00, all I could spare now). If I wasn't diabetic (type 1), I would have donated blood, too (They will not take blood from a diabetic, but I'm not sure why.)

About ten percent of my paycheck is redirected to the United Way.  They had better be there too.
