Question re: New Style of Implant
« on: October 27, 2002, 05:33:23 PM »
To the masses:

Last week an acquaintance of mine told me of a new style of implant with which I was not familiar. She said that doctors are implanting what is in effect an "underwire" around the base of the woman's breasts to give them more fullness and less droop. I'd never heard of this method and wanted to know if any of you have, and what, obviously are the results.

Has anyone else heard of/used this method? I'd especially like to hear from Ms. Charm, whose knowledge on the subject is as expansive as her own chest.

Thanks,

CP

Well, I haven't heard about this before, but I have a comment...considering how uncomfortable wearing an underwire bra can be, I would really HATE to have one permanently implanted! Do you agree, Mel?

I don't know about new implants ... but there was an article in today's New York Times about new bra technology.. including, apparently, a new style of underwire.
