I met Petra Verkaik at the NAMM show maybe 6-7 years ago. She was signing for free at a guitar manufacturer's booth and was very nice. I had to be careful and wait til that line was short--under 4 people, let's say--to lessen the risk of being spotted by co-workers.

If by meet you mean seeing them perform in a club then the question of superstar comes into play. I have autographed pictures from Sareena Lee, Pandora Peaks, Alyssa Alps and Niki Knockers. I attended Glamourcon once and had my picture taken with Petra Verikak, Janet Lupo and Miriam Gonzales. Every one was sweet and smiley and I shall remember them fondly if not with a bit of awkwardness.

Thanks for your post paula, because that's why I haven't posted anything of substance in this thread. What is "meet"? What is "superstar"? She can't be just a model, or even just a star, but a "superstar". Even Richard Dreyfuss wouldn't count. For that matter, what is "real life"? Anyone who has worked in any aspect of entertainment can tell you that it isn't "real life".

Scratch me and the existentialist comes out.
