A couple people have asked what's been going on with me recently so I figured I'd fill people in.
I'm going into the hospital tomorrow morning for a colonoscopy and something else along the same lines. Basically they will go exploring my digestive tract with a small camera to see if there is a problem (rectal tract, colon, lower intestine).
I've been having some digestive problems on top of a very bad case of hemmheroids from about the time I got laid off of here
I had an operation to take care of the hemmehroids but my problems didn't end there. I'm still having random bouts of bad constipation, random pain and some small internal bleeding now and then, along with problems digesting food now and then too, toss in a little dehydration to make things a bit more fun and, well life has been unpleasent.
I've not been able to find a job in this pathetic market and even if i could find a normal one I couldn't hold it due to the periodic bouts of pain that happen about once a day or every two days, lasting for 2 to 5 hours, usually about 2 though. I also seem to be suffering from a lack of energy on and off.
To help out i've switched my diet to nearly all protiens and fats, similar to atkins but with a quite bit more on the vegatable matter and less on the cheeses
Seems to help a bit as I lost 40lbs in 2 months and feel better, however it did not solve the digestive issues though it helped them out a lot. Cutting out sugars also did a world of good.
Anyway this current exploration of my innards is to check for any problems. My family has a history of cancer, and while I don't feel this is the problem the GI specialist wants to go in and see if everything is ok for himself.
So that is my current state for those of you who wished to know.
