My issue is what happens if you're a restless sleeper and half of your arm or leg is hanging over the edge of the bed when there's an earthquake but because of the "blockage" sensor the bed's protective cover doesn't cover you?

Mostly bullshit when it says it can withstand a nuclear weapon hit. When the Cheyenne Mountain Complex was built in the early sixties in Colorado, the average ICBM had an accuracy of 2 -3 miles which is why it could withstand an attack since the complex is deep within Cheyenne Mountain BUT now with an accuracy of 3 to 6 feet, no way which is why the Air Force placed the facility in reserve status but not active. In the Navy we call that Mothballing but the Air Force would never use a naval term if they can help it.
