I'm going to have to disagree with the Jayne-bashing, at least in part.

It's true that in comparison to the tit queens of today--even the reigning ones of the day, such as Virginia Bell, Pauline Page, etc., Jayne wasn't a "bosom wonder".  However, as an *actress*, which is what she was, mind you, she was pretty well stacked--for any era.  

Sure, some films found her padded out to extremes (Hercules in Love, e.g.), but for the most part, that was all Jayne, big rib cage or not.  

I find some of the comments in this thread amusing in light of the fact that so many are involved with morphing--i.e., making a woman's breasts look larger than they really are.

Jayne had an actual bust measurement that was, at least later in her career, well in excess of 40 inches.  Her breasts may not have been as full as, say, Ekberg's, or Wilkinson's, but they were still much bigger than the typical actress or film starlet, and coupled with a teeny tiny waist and sitting atop a large ribcage, they were more than ample.  She had a cartoonishly sexy figure that was well documented by Tashlin, for example, in The Girl Can't Help It.  Jayne was a walking morph, and certainly far, far bustier than the modern mainstream actresses who are *cough* "known" *cough* for being "busty"--the JLHs, Scarlett Johansons, etc. etc.

She knew how to be sexy, too, in the way she dressed, walked, cooed and played it up for fans and publicists.  There is, after all, a reason she is consistently No.2 on Steve Sullivan's lists of all-time greatest glamour gals.

I've heard that Jayne had some muscle control over her breasts. As you know, that topic is kind of my specialty. The only thing I can find however is a very short clip that I'm not sure is her or her walking and shaking/bouncing them in front of Papparazii. It's from the A and E special 'Cleavage' under the 'There's Gold In Them Hills' section.

Can anybody confirm this for me?
