To answer your question Palomine, about 'R' rated Stargate eps:

Stargate originally aired on Showtime, which allowed it to get away with some nudity. At least in its first episode. The particular picture you've attached in Dr. Jackson's wife from another planet, Sha're being implanted with Ra/Apophis' mate. Which, as you may have inferred, happened in the first episode of the series and is the SOLE occurrence of nudity in the show.

Following the first season or two, Stargate SG-1 moved into syndication. And after a few more seasons (5th or 6th approx) it moved to scifi and concluded.

Needless to say neither the syndicated nor the scifi versions were very racy.

All that said, there's still some very nice cleavage every now and then. If you can get the first few episodes of SG-1 after Jack leaves the team and those two from Farscape join the cast. The lead female (Cladia Black as Vala) goes through a cosmic body swap with a busty blonde in midieval dress for a few eps.

Yes, I saw the one where Claudia Black inhabits the body of the busty blonde. Thanks for the info... so I'm to understand that it was only the first ep of the first season of SG1 that had any nudity (the nipply brunette above)?

Even if that's the only incident of more-than-PG in the series, I'm still curious as to whether that is presented on the new 10-season boxed set... not that it's relevant really. I only came to SG1 fairly late in the series (season 7 or 8 I think) and it even then it took me a while to get into it. Now of course, I enjoy it (even the 'off' episodes) ...the camaraderie of the cast, the tongue-in-cheek presentation and the pop-culture references all make it very enjoyable (to me). I'm sorry to see it come to an end.

Well I know the implantation scene takes place the pilot ep. Beyond that for the first season I cant say...its been years since Ive watched the first season.
And the scene *should* be intact. It certainly is there in the stand-alone 4 episode discs that were released years ago. I doubt they'd disappoint all us fanboys by censoring this ultimate end-all-be-all collection.

Just wanted to mention: yesterday the '200' episode of SG1 was broadcast here (regular tv) ...it included a brief reference to Farscape (Vala pitching a ripped-off story idea from a suitable obscure source to a film producer... amusing of course because Claudia Black who plays Vala stars on both SG1 AND Farscape ). Anyway, in the reference, Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter of SG1) starred all-too briefly as Chiana (normally played by Gigi Edgely on Farscape ...btw pardon any/all mispellings on my part). She (Amanda) looked GREAT as Chiana... really nice and all the SG1 actors played their temporary Farscape roles with the appropriate quantity of melodrama (and in Chiana's case, the appropriate amount of cleavage as well).

Sorry, I have no cap of this to share.

Heh, that was a funny episode (also the movie producer's "never heard of that one" reaction to the Farscape scenario).  Also of note, Ben Browder (who took over as SG-1's team leader in the last couple of seasons) also starred on Farscape, but in an amusing "twist" got put in a completely different role (Stark, I think) in Vala's version (she put Daniel in for John Crichton instead).
Be seeing you...

I don't know why such referential nonsense amuses me so much... but it does.

Same here!  I can't resist enjoying a good chuckle at meta-references in just about any show.
Be seeing you...

Let me ask a semi-OT SG1 Q if I may... when Dr. Weir first appeared on the show (as a temporary replacement for General Hammond at SGC) she was a blonde. But by the time she left SGC (when O'Neil took over the SGC desk job) she was the familiar brunette we see more of later in Stargate Atlantis (til she again gets replaced by Amanda Tapping recently).

My Q: is this the same actress with the blonde and brunette versions of Dr. Weir? Just curious.

Nope. Different actress.
Jessica Steen played Dr. Weir for the first two episodes her character appears.

It's too bad they didn't keep Jessica Steen for the role. I'm really not a fan of Torri Higginson's "acting".

Not sure if someone's mentioned this before, but...

...I was half-watching the string of Stargate Atlantis reruns yesterday on the SF channel, and they had that episode where Shepard starts becoming Wraith/bug-like due to getting infected with that experimental anti-Wraith retrovirus thing. The episode title is "Conversion." IMDB link for the episode is here and tv.com episode guide entry here.

Anyway, at the end of the episode (when he's back to normal) he walks into a room where we saw Tayla practicing martial arts earlier. As he walks in, he interrupts her as she's training another woman... a very cute brunette with short hair and fairly impressive endowments... Tayla's got her from behind and her chest is sticking out.

I don't have a name for the actress or caps or clips or anything, but just thought I'd mention it, since if I noticed it, surely someone else did too.
