On seeing a great pic of Francis Cannon in another thread earlier, I recalled how much I appreciated the relatively more-explicit nature of Penthouse layouts (compared with those in Playboy at the time... in the 70s). This, despite the annoyingly incessant use of soft-focus in those PH layouts, and despite the fact that during the 1970s, you were far more likely to run across a truly busty model in the pages of Playboy on any given month.

But there were quite a few Penthouse highlights during that period: the aforementioned Francis Cannon with her bangs and pigtails: petite yet voluptuous and plenty adorable. And of course Avril Lund, who put out 'seamy' in the best possible light: just pendulous woman-flesh and furry genitals and tons of smoldering sensuality. And others too of course... one of the lesser-known (but IMO not any less deserving) is Diana Rosehardy: a relative rarity in that there weren't a whole lot of Asian models in either Penthouse or Playboy back then.

Ms. Rosehardy appeared in the September 1977 issue of Penthouse. Her heavy makeup is typical of the period and even though I've always preferred a more natural look that depends less on artifice, all the rouge and lipstick and eyeliner doesn't detract from her appeal one bit. She had ALL the prerequisites to appeal to my developing predilections back then (and she still does! ): lots of long glossy hair, full lips, smooth skin, plush natural breasts capped by substantial contrasty nipples and areolas and of course: a delicious looking and lippy womanhood. This is the photo that captured most of my attention back then: the fact that her legs are spread wide to reveal her appealing wetness and that the soft-focus isn't too severe has a lot to do with it.
