Hmmm .. I'm gonna have to go with D&J on this one ... we'll need to see how it evolves ...

I miss Pac's Thanks .. and Behavior .. and even R&D ...

yes ... I know R&D exists, and updates periodically ... but it's not like it was ...

I'm using Netscape 7 for OS X, which as far as I can tell is basically Mozilla with a green netscape logo up there in the corner, and I get the same problem MrHHH did. So I'm hoping that can get fixed with Imaginos' source editing there by the next update. Cause not everybody bows to the almighty Microsoft monoply if they can help it.

As for the zine itself ... well, I do like some of the ideas, like a gallery review, but many of the articles seem to be sorta ... short. I have no problem reading a piece on why you think Elizabeth Starr is fucking hot, but do you think you could at least throw in a picture or something to spice it up a bit?

The gallery review seems to be the most promising bit, but I'd also like to see something more substantial there; maybe longer bios, a few sample pics reviewed (or at least thumnails linking to the artwork ... I know they're all on the same site, but that hyperlink code is there to be used, folks). Maybe a full-fledged interview with the artist instead of a few paraphrased quotes... I think the earlier one on Miasma was an example of a better fleshed-review out than this week's current gallery review.

So yeah, I'll basically tag along with the others and say "wait and see" .. I think there are some good ideas in it but I'd like to see more substance in the future. It's all meant as constructive criticism, and I have a lot of respect for anyone who can run a webzine with regular updates (since I can't even seem to find the time to add to my gallery lately..)

Also re: Monjangles,

Very often the rant is far more entertaining for the writer than his readers. This section was not a big hit with me, sorry.

First off I think I owe everyone an apology for misleading alot of you.

My biggest mistake, was using the term 'zine.'

I know when I think of 'zine I think of monthly updated, 2 page stories, multiple authors, and interviews interviews and interviews.

I know we all miss R&D, and BeHavior (both which don't update like they used to) and Thanks!321 is a name which is whispered in the darkest parts of the forum, however, a full zine, my gallery is not.

I wanted to do something different, something new that the BEArchive hasn't seen yet.  Something I got from my friend JSP who runs a site called 665 (www.sixsixfive.com) where his goal is do "daily" update up to 665 "articles."

Now these are not just articles in the sense that you'd read in the paper.  It's basically his mind, down on HTML coding.  Someday's its very long and thought out, other days its just a quick pic, and others a small and quick rant, requiring not much thought at all.

I am trying to do something similar, but surrounding boobs.

At any given time, such as now, I have 6 articles all in the works.  Some are really close to completion, while others are far away.  I do research for them, interviews, pic hunting and what not.  For the most worthy of "articles" it will take a few weeks.

So the wait and see method will reward those.. uh.. waiting and seeing

As far as what to look forward to, here's a small list of a few articles that are lengthy, that are close to completion:

Big Breasts in Today's Society
Clothed Breasts VS Bare Breasts
Is There A "Too Big?"
Anime Breasts:  Why So Large?

As far as gallery reviews, here's who I got ready to "roast":

Cheviot
Bust Artist
PacMan

And Last, Dick, Jane and I are in the process of settting those two wacky people up with a part on my "zine" (couldn't help it) where you can see exclusive pics of Jane's bust, interviews, and their very own articles, in memoir of Thanks!321

On a side note, as of Dec 4th, 3:30PST, Mr. Monjangles has resigned.

Throw a party

Those those who've stuck with me, thank you.  Think of me as a Playstation 2 launch: I was delayed by a month, my opening line-up was weak, and I had to axe a partner.  And now Playstion 2 is one of the top selling consoles on the market today.

Just a piece of knowledge to nibble on.

Your future plans sound very promising .. looking forward to seeing more gallery reviews and reading D&J's column as well, as well as some of those larger articles you mentioned. It sounds like you are really building something up here, and I'm looking forward to seeing it happen.

Thanks for your efforts!

Well I've looked through your section some more and the more I read, the more I like .. I'm particuarly curious to hear the followup to your article about stories for how people found their way to the BEA. Perhaps a post in the General Discussion forum would get the most responses?

And you didn't even post how YOU found the BEArchive

Here's the post I placed in the General Board:

Hey, I was waiting to see if you'd post it there first! I don't want to write it twice after all.

Okay, I will head over now and add mine, as simple as it may be.

I have to agree with Munch, really all the other webzines are dead in the water - R&D has been struggling to keep afloat for well over a year now and as I've pointed out is presented in the rolling style to try and disguise that fact - so it's a real relief to see that Grizzly is someone willing to put the effort into making a webzine.

It's certainly a good start and I look forward to seeing more of it in the future.

This week's update will be delayed by a day, so check back on Tuesday, due to DALnet being down all weekend and not getting ahold of someone to finish my article for this week

Grrr, stupid DALnet
