I wanted to thank everybody for visiting from an earlier post somebody made in here about Elf Life... I really appreciate any extra attention I can get for it. Here's some new wallpaper that was designed with you guys in mind.

Mermaid wallpaper

The position of the boobs may not seem realistic at first, but keep in mind that a mermaid is propelled forward by her fins, and  may swim haltingly at times... there's gonna be a lot of movement up there.  

Anyway, I'm also using this page to get out the vote on a top list with my readers, so you don't have to pay any attention to the voting prompt... unless you really like the wallpaper, of course.

It is kind of strange to find a webcomic creator posting in such a unusual place.  I guess welcome to the BEA forum.  You'll find lots of different people posting here about lots of things that may seem strange until you're used to it.

I enjoy ElfLife, but I've never really been to the forum.  I like the R-rated version of the comic, it's kind of different.  But if you're going to continue long-term with it, you might have to let days or even weeks go by without any nudity.  It might hurt the story if you are constantly trying to find places to stick it in.  I wouldn't try to force it, but just put it in when it seems right.

.....You know that whole ending seemed like I was trying have a double meaning or something, but I really wasn't.

I can't say I dislike Leukothea, but you're probably just going to get flamed more than praised about her.  A lot of people just don't like that stuff.  She's cute though (in my opinion) , it would be interesting if she spent some time somehow as a air breather.  Oh, and her breasts could be a little bigger   (how many people have said that?)

I voted btw.  I see ElfLife is #1 this month.

Actually, Carson's been here before, once that I know of. Back near the 11th, someone was asking for an on-topic distraction. I suggested checking out Elf Life, as Leukothea was just making her debut. Apparently the traffic drew his attention and he suggested anyone visiting his strip from here should try the R-rated version.

Apparently he got enough business from around here to make us some special wallpaper.  

BTW, I think Leukothea's naked for the same reason Glynhail is. Her species just never cared about clothing. Much more logical than the Disney approach.

And yeah, I was so appreciative of the mention that I not only hot-footed it over here, but even considered doing a "bigger" Leukothea. So many of you have downloaded the wallpaper (and voted!!!) that I probably will do an exclusive wallpaper for you for November or December.

Opinions are mixed on the R-rated side of Elf Life. Mostly split by region, though... Europeans aren't surprised by nudity in comics, but we Americans are still a bit worried when we see it. And Leukothea's size did raise some eyebrows.

But heck, my dad was in the navy... we know our mermaids!

Damn it, I read though the current plot line. Now, for some reason I can't explain, I'm obsessed with this mermaid. This sweet, canabalistic, super busty, half mermaid.

I hope you don't kill her off.
