January 2000 still a poor university student. I bought ski poles and afterwards went into the hugest book store on the place. When I came out the store I went down the stairs. Lower West Side of Manhattan during one summer about ten years ago. It was night and I was standing outside a restaurant with some friends, waiting for a table. I wasn't the first to see her. Hard to choose among these three:
