Now you know why I was checking it.

If you're in New York try adding 3.5, in Chicago add 2.5, in Denver add 1.5, in San Francisco add 0.5, and so forth.....

Understood, but my previously crudely made time adjustment was -2.  I actually wanted something like -2.2 at the time, but there was a limit to the number of chars, so the best I could hope for would have been "-2.".  

So, yeah, just now set to "2.5".  A bit of a departure from "-2" ("-2.2").    Still doesn't address the need for a proper NTP client setup.  But I already brought that suggestion up in the "what improvements would you like the BEA to have" (or whatever it was called) thread which I think - gabe - created, over in the Site Issues section.

Guess we'll manage till that gets addressed.

Ironically, the battery in my ancient Timex wristwatch died this week.

But on my desk is a clock that queries the atomic clock to set itself, so I know what time it is, at least when I am home.
