To VitaminC and other poser artist..quick question.

I guess i got the bug lol but i want to try my hand at some poser/3d work...not a newbie to 3D programs just poser mostly...But i want to know how do you (VitaminC)get that girl in your avatar to look so buff. Is it playing with the dials or can i DL one somewhere and if so where. I kinda want to try my hand on some busty amazon gals. I had poser 4.03 for along time now and never really got into it due to hard drive and other problem but since i spent the money on it and VV2 and other renderosity stuff i might as well use them. Hope you or anyone else can help me out it would be great.

Hi, Vitamin C uses lightwave to make his Buff avatar... He doesnt like poser... I think the lastest version poser 5.0 has possiblities ..its not for the faint of heart.. I also have poser 4.03 and use it for some renders and to get a pose on drawing subject material...If you want a really buff poser model that would be one of the DAZs models... Steffinie and Victoria 2.0 and now 3.0 can be as buff as you want.. they arent cheap though.. cheers PE

Ah thanks PE. I see that Daz also has a body morph pak for V3 that might help too. I was going to upgrade to Poser 5.0 but i heard that the SR version still have a few bugs in them so ill guess ill wait for that.
Thats pretty damn good work that Vc does with Lightwave. Im not to good at making people from scratch, I better at object and sci fi things. But Maybe inporting Poser people into lightwave will gie them are more realltic look. Thanks again.

Yes. Victoria 3.0 has a great morph pack...she can be made up just as muscle bound as VC lovely avatar..I believe poser pro pack is what is needed to export a poser to Lightwave..not sure on that...Vue is a nice program to export to from 4.03...its a great buy at around 200.00 ..Ive been very pleased with it...makes exellent outdoors scenes. cheers PE

The buff character in my avatar was modeled from scratch in Lightwave 7.5. -The way God meant women to be modeled.

Aaaah very nice VC. Sorry if i offened. Most people start out with poser. Kinda like the ABC for modeling people and them move up to programs like Maya. I never been good at modeling people from scratch, so im starting from the beginning. But im quite good at 3dmax, Cinema4D and other such 3D programs. Im better at Mecha and SciFi based models. And hoping to better myself with the human form. Thanks for the inspiration.

Ah come on now...for those of us who sketch and are computer challenged..Poser is a good place to start..Im going to download g-max and learn a little modelling.. Love to do a Battle carrier from CJ Cherryhs Company war novels . If you take your time and a little postwork you can turn out decent stuff in poser..Cheers PE

Autobot2000, I became interested in 3D modelling programs as a result of another hobby of mine..ship modelling..I can across some nice 3D ships modelled in Truespace and lightwave.. Love to get one of those high end programs someday..cheers PE
