I'll say this myself:

I watch a lot of Japanese films, and if I can watch  Tora Tora Tora,  point to the actor playing Nagumo and say, "Hey, that's the innkeeper from  Yojimbo !" then you can definately tell Asians apart.

I find thats the only reliable way to tell them apart.

Seems people have a lot of trouble telling asian women apart. I've never had that problem. I can generally tell which part of asia they or their ancestors are from too. Although it's getting tougher now with people who are part this and part that.

I think I am slowly gaining some points with one of the asian women at work because I can tell them apart. Someone couldn't tell her and the new co-op apart, and I couldn't believe it, because they look nothing alike. They are both 'asian', female, and have black hair. The similiarity ends there. Too bad she has a boyfriend... (and sadly small breasted, nice ones though)

Thank you for the return to sanity, Palomine. I just want to add that I am thoroughly whitebread American, but have lived almost all my life on the West Coast. I first came across the "they all look the same" meme in Chicago a long time ago and had no idea what the guy was talking about.

I'm still floored when a fellow Caucasian (what a goofy name; I don't live anywhere in Southern Russia) sees someone who is obviously Korean and asks if they're Chinese, or what-not. It's like mistaking a Norwegian for an Italian.

Moreover, there is at least as much visual difference among people across China as there is across Europe.

 That is all I am and was saying, nothing bad nor as an insult towards 'anyone', I was and am still just saying, sorry if I do not see it, no there is not alot of Asian people around my area, to me (and yes others in the world) 'most' of them look the same. I added the image of Kianna, she is one I have seen in the adult world that does look different, and yes nice to me anyway.

 In anycase and to move on with this, as said, I meant nothing 'bad' towards anyone in anyway, just my own opinion, you know we all have one. I still think as I said, what I do, in my own eyes, my own personal opinion that yes it is hard to tell them apart, and as for 'looking the same' thing, why not go fuss at Disney? Just a point on that, the feature called 'Mulan' now 'somehow' she was all able to take her father's place in the 'army' by pretending to be him. And if she did it, means somehow, they must have said, well, same as I did. Just a point but otherwise, not in a bad way or no way to insult anyone, just is as is.

 I am aware that 'Asian' peoples are different, not sure which it is, but I know some types from whatever land it is they are from, one type has eyes slanted up at their nose, some have eyes slanted down at their nose, some types have more rounded eyes then the other types, a whole world of  Asian people out there, but as I said, my own opinion only, to me, they mostly all look the same.

 Again, just saying excuse me, that is all, I merely said my opinion and posted one that I thought and think looks good, otherwise, if I may not have my own opinion, being I said 'nothing' wrong nor raciest or such, and I would not in anycase, but otherwise, people can say and type the word 'faggot' in other topics all they wish, and that is I would say problem, but then again, just me, I guess. Noting that well, heck homosexual males would not come here in anycase anyway, as well nothing here they would enjoy, but still on that issue, it is still not so good is it, but anyway, as I said we all have our opinions, and likes and dislikes. I again never said Asian people were ugly nor nothing bad about them, heck, asI posted and said, that one Asian woman, Kianna I love, plus not to mention that anime 'Asian' looking girl in my 'cartoon' sig, but in anycase, just my own opinion.
