How to make a screenshot on a Mac: hold down the Shift, Command and the number 4 keys. Select the section of the screen you want to save, by clicking and dragging the crosshairs that appear on the screen. Once you let go, you will hear a sound like a camera shutter. The screenshot image file will probably be on your Desktop, and the filename will be something like "Screen Shot 2017-04-30 at 10.49.06 AM".

How to make a screenshot on a PC: hold down the Shift and PrtSc keys. The screenshot image will be stored in the clipboard. You can then open Microsoft Paint and press the Control and the V key to paste the image from the clipboard, then press the Control and the S key to save the file.
