Besides, she sure seems more Latina than black to be in this thread.
"Black" is a race; "Latino/a" is an ethnicity. Hence you can simultaneously be black and be Latino/a (e.g.
Kristina Milan), or you can simultaneously be white and be Latino/a (e.g.
Christina Aguilera), or you can even simultaneously be of Asian descent and be Latino/a (e.g. former Peruvian president
Alberto Fujimori).
All of that said, I agree: she is definitely worthy of a thread of her own.
