Yeah. In the form of windmills.

This must be the "tilting at windmills" reference, which I never did understand.

I had visions of windmills, and some guy leaning in their general direction.  Which is just weird.

But now I get it.  Thanks again, Wikipedia.

The Huffington Post: "Tina Fey On Sarah Palin: 'If She Wins...I'm Leaving Earth'"

Tina Fey told TV Guide she'll be "done" if John McCain and Sarah Palin win the election next month.

The SNL veteran who has come back to play the Republican Vice Presidential candidate (and whose own show, 30 Rock, is still nowhere to be seen), said, "We're gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I'm done. I can't do that for four years. And by 'I'm done,' I mean I'm leaving Earth."

Fey also said it's a busy but exciting time for SNL.

"Election time is always good for [SNL] and this is a bonkers election," she said. "And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she's very likeable. She's fun to play, and the two bits with Amy [Poehler], that was super fun," Fey says....

Now, when she says "I'm done", does she mean that she would be too exhausted to be appearing as Palin on SNL for the next 4 years in addition to her duties at 30 Rock, or does she mean she's leaving the country/the planet like Alec Baldwin said he'd do if Bush won in 2000? (and does anyone else see the irony that Alec & Tina are currently castmates?)

Er, what, where was I? Oh yes:
The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson: "Betty White calls Sarah Palin a crazy bitch"

She's obviously joking though, right? At least they can't call it ageist for her to be slamming her fellow septuagenarian McCain

I saw that and sent it to my mom! She just love Betty White and I look her up and she is 86 years old. Same age group I teach Tai Chi in the old folks home.

interesting conservatives pundents opinion on Sara Palin.
I would say that the conservatives media talking head were reluctant to have John McCain as the nominated Candidate for being too much to the middle, and McCain has change to be more in line with the hard nose conservatives, and then brought Sara to embolden their base.
"Yesterday, Reince Priebus called this whole story a 'nothing burger,'" he said. "Well these emails have turned it into an all-you-can-prosecute buffet."

The Huffington Post: "Supermarket Check-Out Line VP Nominees and Other Notes from the Final Weeks of Election 2008"

In the supermarket checkout line, a woman piped up to stop my friend from criticizing Governor Palin, saying, "She's great; just like me!" I turned and asked her, "So, you think you could be president?" "Oh, no!" she replied. "Case closed," I said, to the sounds of guffaws throughout the checkout counters.

My 86-year-old mother gets pushed around in a wheelchair, but when it comes to this election, my mother is no pushover. After the Saddlebrook town meeting, she observed, "McCain told a lot of little stories. People like that." Then McCain named Sarah Palin and she said, "Sarah isn't smart. People don't like that." After the Nashville debate, she observed: "Obama looked comfortable with himself. People like that." Her most recent report from Florida: "All my friends are voting for Obama. Except for Lori. But her four sons are voting for Obama." My mother paused, then added: I like that."

While Sarah Silverman is very cute, the truth did the most work.

Which of Putin's heads will start rearing when he sees that?

Quote:

"John Cleese Picks Earth's Funniest Palin"

When John Cleese tells an interviewer, "I used to think [fellow "Monty Python" legend] Michael Palin was the funniest Palin on Earth," you pretty much know what's about to happen.

Asked for his take on Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, the British actor-comedian could hardly contain himself, comparing the vice-presidential candidate to a "nice-looking parrot" with an impeccable memory.

Watch The Interview

"What fascinates me is: people watching her on television -- can they not see that she's basically learned certain speeches? She does them very well, she's got a very good memory, but it's like a nice-looking parrot," Cleese said.

"Because the parrot speaks beautifully and kind of says 'aw shucks' every now and again, but doesn't really have any understanding of the meaning of the words it is producing, even though it's producing them very accurately."

Cleese, whose film credits include "A Fish Called Wanda" and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," made his comments during an interview with video community Web site Seesmic.com.

In the end, Cleese had some bad news for his old cast mate: "I mean, Monty Python could have written this. And I'm sorry, Michael Palin, to say you're not the funniest Palin any more, but you're not."
