You know the most astonishing thing is. This Trumpel, his consultants and his junta government lies when they open the mouth. Every time. And not small lies, no small incorrectnesses, no just universum sized lies ... that can cause really bad trouble, extreme trouble, up to nuclear holocaust. And they deny to learn out of it. They never say sorry it was a mistake. They always say it was the others fault, never their own. No single self-reflection.

That's how it goes for someone suffering from narcissistic personality disorder.

Quote

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a long-term pattern of abnormal behavior characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a lack of understanding of others' feelings. People affected by it often spend a lot of time thinking about achieving power or success, or about their appearance. They often take advantage of the people around them. The behavior typically begins by early adulthood, and occurs across a variety of situations.

Treatments have not been well studied. Therapy is often difficult as people with the disorder frequently do not consider themselves to have a problem. The personality was first described in 1925 by Robert Waelder while the current name for the condition came into use in 1968. About one percent of people are believed to be affected at some point in their life. It appears to occur more often in males than females and affects young people more than older people.

Hmmm..  ???

Bill Clinton - "[Obamacare's] the craziest thing in the world."

Speaking of Obamas "signature accomplishments".....
Imagine if Obama, Kamala, or Biden survived two assassination attempts and the media not publicly destroying the reputation of everyone who issued even the most mild criticism of them and then just dropping the story completely.

Yeah, I cannot either.

"...Trump actually does something."

Like what?

What has he accomplished in his first two months in office?...

The GOP's replacement for the Affordable Care Act looks dead in the water. Trump’s budget proposal is just that  - a proposal - and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere. The latest version of his order about travel restrictions from Islamic countries is held up in court. Trump may have signaled shifts in policy, but he has yet to make any real changes — like passing (or even PROPOSING) actual laws — that will actually MAKE a difference.

Do not mistake "activity" for "accomplishment".

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/03/trump-still-hasnt-done-very-much-214932

If he actually has accomplished anything, it's diminishing respect for the Presidency.

It may seem hyperbolic, but this sadly is his "greatest" "achievement" thus far. It's not even close. Consider this data point.

The Gallup Organization regularly does polling 60 days into a presidency to determine the percentage of Americans who approve of how it's doing.

 % Job
Approval President
------------------------
   75    Carter
   60    Reagan
   56    GHW Bush
   53    Clinton
   58    GW Bush
   63    Obama
   37    Trump

This is the fastest a presidency has reached such a low a mere two months in.

It should also be noted that the main reason why their attempt to impose Trumpcare on the country failed wasn't because the so-called Freedom Caucus suddenly grew a conscience. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Axios: "Inside the Trumpcare meltdown"
Quote

When the balky hardliners of the House Freedom Caucus visited the White House earlier this week, this was Steve Bannon's opening line, according to people in the conference room in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building: "Guys, look. This is not a discussion. This is not a debate. You have no choice but to vote for this bill."

* Bannon's point was: This is the Republican platform. You're the conservative wing of the Republican Party. But people in the room were put off by the dictatorial mindset.

* One of the members replied: "You know, the last time someone ordered me to something, I was 18 years old. And it was my daddy. And I didn't listen to him, either."

* Started on the wrong foot: Repeal-and-replace was always snakebit. Ryan had begun the process before Trump's inauguration. "He boxed us in," said one person close to the fight. "We didn't have any choice."

* Was always wobbly: Trump relied too long on assurances from Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and HHS Secretary Tom Price that they had the process in hand. And "Ryan was telling him it was fine, and they'd bring it together at the end." Instead, the bottom fell out.

* What's next: White House officials plan to plunge ahead with ambitious tax reform, but they know it'll be harder now. As one of the lessons learned, look for the White House to drive the truck on tax reform – to set the policy and work the members from the beginning, undercutting Ryan. So the border adjustment tax, a favorite of Ryan but viewed skeptically at best by the White House, is less likely to be part of Trump's tax reform bid.

* What happens today: Aides say Trump was calm yesterday. But as the vicious post-mortems piled up, friends — knowing he would hate-read them — feared for today's Twitter feed.

Perspective: It's hard to overstate the magnitude of the Day 64 defeat. President Trump, who made repeal-and-replace a central theme of his campaign, and House Republicans, who made it the central theme of every campaign since 2010, lost in a publicly humiliating way despite controlling every branch of government and enjoying margins in the House rarely seen in the past century.

This virtually guarantees no substantive legislative achievements in the first 100 days.
And it creates rifts and suspicions and second-guessing that make governing much harder.

The Trumpcare failure comes down to this, since many people like to "simplify it"...

It was Ryancare. Not much different than Obamacare. Some even called it BabyObamacare.

Move on, talk about Trumps bad Twitter habits again.

Here's what's next:

Wow. These guys aren't playing around.

rtpoe, what do you think would happen if such an Independent Commission were to find that the current occupant of the White House and his entire campaign did indeed actively collude with the Russians in such a way? What would be the remedy? I hear talk of there being an election do-over, but something tells me that that wouldn't fly.

Well. When Trumpel heared that for Trumpelcare nobody actually did care anymore he called personally in to the hated press and journalists of Washington Post and New York Times telling apart of being jovial and other things, that the democrats were the reason for failure. Even the GOP has the majority in both houses.

Loser!

My goodness. This is the most thrilling 100 days in US presidential history. Too bad this isn't a movie, and not real fucking life affecting the lives of 330 million people in potentially negative ways, I might better appreciate the drama.

The one and only move that the current occupant of the White House has made that is good, is withdrawing us from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, but that's it. Does any sane human being believe that we would see such rank incompetence and malevolence from a Hillary Clinton presidency, or that she would have as her closest advisor a Leninist who wishes to destroy the government, appoint as Attorney-General a man who was deemed so racist that he lost the chance to become a federal judge, appoint as Secretary of State a man who is so deep in the Russian pockets that he was given their highest civilian award, give her unelected daughter the highest security clearance and an office in 1600 Penn Avenue, etc. etc. etc.?

Shocking.

Wait! Isn't Hillary Clinton the incarnation of evil? All really all evidences (if extremist right wings) indicate that undoubtedly.

Of course, a few hours before this happened, her father went on to Twitter, lied about it, and then deleted the tweet in question.

This is not normal.

But then their supporters go out into the Internet and find small little pieces of Obama and his people or president candidate Clintion and try to tell me they are evil, they lied, they caused amaggedon ....

... then I take a second. Look at the last 10 years and see nothing of this acutally even remotely happend the last 10 years. Well, what do I think of these supporters of Trumpel & Co.? I better don't tell because it is against rules.

Just to support what I said above about the liars:

Why did I not get an updated player/scorecard?

I thought Obama was the incarnation of evil, not Hillary for the Dems.

Trump/Bannon has it covered for the Repubs, or has that changed now?

Impeachment. And then we had better hope that Mike Pence has clean hands. If not, then it's Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Then Orrin Hatch as President Pro Tempore of the Senate. After that come all the Cabinet secretaries.

The actual best outcome would be for all of the contacts to be merely coincidental and innocuous. But given how people are dodging and weaving and hesitating to come clean, that's not bloody likely.

I am willing to bet money that VP Pence is as deep in the muck on this as anyone else. So, sadly, the best case scenario would be a President Orrin Hatch.
