I once work for a Jewish kitchen during their holiday dinner and the lady that hired me told me to not start the dishes until they all left the building. I was told I had to wash the dishes by hand with a huge rock of Gibraltar in the water basin. I sort of got worried because I knew by hand it would take several hours. The friggin rock didn't make things easier. Well after everyone left, the lady in charge took the rock out and stash inside the dishwasher machine and said "There! Now it's a kosher dish-washing machine!"

One of the best (if not the best) free Flash games out there: Starwish

The game part is a fairly average side-scrolling shooter. What makes it great is the story - some 60,000 words, according to the home site. Toss in a custom soundtrack for the icing on the cake.

You'll read in the comments that people were moved to tears at the ending(s). I can attest to that fact from personal experience - even though I was expecting that possibility.

In an industry where microtransactions are becoming the normal in some fashion or anything, I find it more than a little astounding that a game as big and lovingly crafted as Starwish is was free, because it's something I would have happily paid for. Work began on the game in 2009, and considering it's largely a one-man show (the developer wrote everything, drew everything, and programmed everything himself, music was created by Auriplane) it's got to be incredibly satisfying to see all that effort pay off in a big way. Starwish is impressive and just plain fun, with a cheery, action-packed sci-fi/fantasy story. - Jayisgames

The storyline was sublime. The developer, or storywriter, did a phenomenal job and the story, most importantly, was very interesting and keep you hooked to the game! The art was fantastic and I loved the character design, planets and backgrounds, but the art in-battle wasn’t up to par to what I saw outside of battle. Also, the music was perfect. I loved how calming it was and the mood that it set for the game. In conclusion, RPG Shooter: Starwish is a breathtaking RPG game that you won’t soon forget! This game will continuously drag you back to play with its grand storyline and characters. - Giudology

This is, without a doubt, the most memorable and addictive game I've played in Newgrounds. Not only were the storyline and characters great, the main gameplay (the horizontal space shooter portion of the game) was also very nice, and all the various weapons augmented it and kept it from getting repetitive. The mix of genres also enhanced the replayability of the game. The plot is also worthy of being made into an actual video game or manga/anime series, and I just don't feel like I can praise you enough for this creation. Better than a lot of the games made by big-name companies out there. Please make another one of these games soon!!! - TCTriangle, Newgrounds
