Combo sink and toilet. How clever. Their apartments/homes are so cramped, especially by American standards, that they need to be super-efficient in their homes. 

Except there seems to be room for a sink in the built-in vanity at right.  Hard to tell.  Could be wrong.

I've been to Japan, courtesy of Uncle Sam's Navy, and I visited some homes there and they were so small, yet they were standard homes and cities there are very compact and super crowded. They didn't have the suburban sprawl that we Americans are used to. Very good public transport and the cities are clean and safe. I remember taking the subway in Tokyo and they have men there whose jobs are to push people into the subway cars so the doors can close since they were so crowded. A shipmate of mine, a real big boy (6'4", 280 pounds), didn't like a stranger pushing him around and reacted by hitting that pusher and knocking him cold. We got off and ran away when we found out he was a city official. We skedaddled back to Yokosuka where our boat was tied up and pretended nothing happened.

That vehicle suspension has been modified and it is a low rider now. That is not its standard stance. Heck, it's so low now that if it hits a bump on the road, it will lose its oil pan.

Take another look.  The Chrysler 300 that year had its door handles up near the belt line.  They’re hard to see with all the reflections.

Yes, it’s been mildly customized, but what’s unusual, of course, is just how real it looks even though, in reality, it’s a 1/25th scale Moebius Model of the 1956 Chrysler 300 B
