My daughter visited Mitsuwa, NJ, earlier this week, which boasts a great Japanese marketplace.  She came across these great macarons shaped like Totoro with a leaf on his head. Great stuff.

Saint John The Devine is a contemporary cathedral being built in Manhattan’s upper west side and has many bas reliefs that reflect modern times, but nothing as cool as this.

I think that thing is probably the most famous gargoyle ever, since it's so cool and neat.  The sculptor did a good job with it.  For the first few years, I bet the WTF factor was pretty high for people seeing it.

A photo of the single largest Military Band in the world consisting of more than 400 members, the Texas A&M corps of cadets band. Texas A&M has the single largest ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) in the USA of about 2500 members, which is only surpassed by the Military Academies of West Point, The Air force academy and the Naval academy. Texas A&M University has a student body of 50,000, which makes it the 6th largest in the USA.

If you ever want to see an amazing marching band, check out the Youtube videos and its formations and band choreography is amazing.  :)
