Another blast from the past.

Betty White and Lorne Greene hosting the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the 1960s.

I remember both of them from TV shows of 50+ years ago like Betty White on the Mary Tyler Moore show and Lorne Greene from Bonanza.

I remember him as Arnold in the TV show Happy Days back in the 70's. Pat Morita was a great comedian.

The news about a hurricane coming is much easier to take when it's delivered by someone who looks like that!

Speaking of hurricanes... this is a fairly neat way to secure against one.  I don't know how effective it is, though.

Leptis Magna, located on the western coastline of Libya, founded by the Carthaginians around 700 BC, after the third Punic war between Carthage and Rome in 146 BC, it became a Roman city, it became a UNESCO world Heritage site in 1982, and it still has a lot of well-preserved Roman architecture.
