"I just can't drink the way I used to," replaces, "I'm never going to drink that much again."

When you acknowledge rock groups like Guns N' Roses and Metallica as "classic."
Stand up for what you believe, even if you must stand alone.

When you, an affirmed non-smoker, take up smoking the occasional cigar.  You know, for special occasions.

When you start sentences with "20 years ago" (or 30, 40, etc).

When you grumble about the way some younger folks wear their hair/hats/pants, then have that "oh no I've become old" moment.

When putting on your fave slippers really can be the highlight of your day.

When you decide that your 17" TV and standard DVD player a good enough and you give all the money that you would have spent on a 40" HDTV and Blu-ray player to the foundation to find a cure for malaria.
Having talent or money is not a license to be a jerk.

What if I told you that I wasn't getting older ... but I was getting younger than everybody else?

When you see a picture of a rotary dial phone and actually have fond memories of the non-hands-free, non-cordless, error-prone dialing, noisy-long-distance experience.

(As opposed to the hands-free, cordless, dropped-call experience.  And yet, 30 years from now, someone will look fondly back on that experience.  )

I'm 23 and that's happening to me.

it's because we are more manly and wrestle more bears than other guys.
I can't think of anything creative to put here, so i give up.

Especially when the sentence is, "Gawd, the last time I came six times in a night was..."

I am noticing the effect of decades of hormones in factory meat on teeenagers. When I went to school girls were barely developed, maybe one or two had nice c-cups, I doublechecked my year book just in case my memory was dim.

These days they have all sprouted at least firm b-cups and a large portion have made it up to d's and a few beyond.

It's not like I am a ped stalker, but damn I have to ride the bus and the way these chicks dress their illegal, nubile jubblies are practically smacking me in the face!!!

Wow now I really feel old!!!
Call me Bob.

Bob, on a related note is the effect where you're casually looking around while strolling (eg, at the mall), notice some outstanding curves well beyond D-cup, are initially smitten, look up a bit, then as soon as your subconscious registers the likely age of the owner, you just want to scrub your brain with a power-sander.

On a related note, there's the age-old fantasy of being with an 18 yr old.  That must be a fantasy for 20- and 30-somethings, because at some point I raised that bar to no less than 21, with a push to make that bar no less than 25.  I don't know whether that's self-preservation, or whether that's got more to do with the more youthful mannerisms which just seem irritating now.  Or maybe something to do with world experience, probability of intelligent conversation, or what.

Not that I fantasize about getting with much older women.    Although mind you, if Raquel Welch were to come a-knocking, I can't say that I'd snub her.

....

On another tangent, it's easier to have an appreciation for the lessons my parents shared with me when I was younger.  Quite of few of those 'Aha!' moments.

Yeah, I dig, once I get over the initial shock, little girls, no matter how busty, do nothing for me these days. I'm way too old.
Call me Bob.
