The BEA repair teams are currently working on a resolution (B.S. Jargon for "I don't know what the fuck happened!)

 Normally, if it was "The Monday 13-th" virus/tojan, the whole set of Forum messages will be lost as also the whole users data base with special marks (banned users, etc.).

Guessing it's not a Database issue since I imagine the DB is backed up daily and then a simple restore would only mean a loss of up to 24hours of posts. But it's been days with this issue now, so I assume it's not DB related. But then again, I would also imagine that the non-DB files would also be backed up daily. so hmmmm... unless there is no backups. Or there is a separate DB server backup with a possible hardware issue and the user DB is separate from the posts DB. Which makes no sense. But either way, at least 1 server is running and if the backups are available, seems a restore would not take long while restoring other servers... hmmm. Any updates? Sorry for my ramblings.

All I know is that they are working on the problem. Thats all anyone knows atm. As soon as the mods know, they'll let us know.
