That really bugs me. Unless you have actually asked EVERYONE how can you say EVERYONE is talking about something!

Also when someone says that a person is 'Everyone's favourite comedian/singer/actor/soccer player'. Sorry? Did you ask me?, he/she ain't my favourite, therefore they ain't EVERYONES favourite!

On a related note, there is the late-night tv host who introduces everyone as a "superstar". No, they aren't a "star" until I've heard of them, and they aren't a "superstar" until I remember their name.
