Sarah Jane Smith actress Elisabeth Sladen appeared with K9 in a spin-off in 1981 called K9 and Company. K9 was also seen with Sarah Jane in 'The Five Doctors' the 20th anniversary special, and then AGAIN when the show came back MANY years later. K9 and Sarah Jane appeared together in the David Tennant episode 'School Reunion'. When Sarah Jane got her own show, K9 also appeared sporadically.

Thanks for the explanation. I don't watch much TV, a habit I pretty much gave up in the years I spent in the Navy and did not resume after I retired. Never seen a episode of Friends for example. Or The Sopranos. I mainly watch Football on TV. I will watch some National Geographic, Discovery or such every so often which is why I got rid of my cable TV. I have a digital antenna which suffices for now and if I need news I go on line.
