Budweiser. ( If you are talking about the super large mass market brands, you are quite correct. This is of course a hangover of the Prohibition era of 1920-1933 when alcohol became illegal and beer afterward was limited to 3.2 % alcohol due to individual state restrictions. But since the craft beer movement, which started in the 1980's, the USA has won many awards for high quality beer and the USA has the greatest variety of beers in the world. )
