Bill Finger (1914-1974) the true creator of Batman, Robin the Boy Wonder, Betty Kane (the original Batgirl), Commissioner Gordon, the Joker, Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Calendar Man, Clayface, the Batcave, the Batmobile, and the name of Batman's city (Gotham City). He also introduced Kryptonite into the Superman comic books (the material had already been talked about in the Superman radio serials), as well as Lana Lang.
