Puff the magic dragon
First time I saw this, first thing that popped into my mind was when I was stationed in Pearl Harbor, nearby is Hickam Air Force Base and they had one of these C-47 (aka DC-3) Vietnam War gunships which were called Puff the magic Dragon by the troops and were the first type of gunships created. The C-47 were fully retired in the early 1980's.)
