I'm only replying because this damn thread has got to the top again...

Sorry St Stephan, but I think this is a poor post - even if it was done as a joke.

People can get very upset about this sort of thing. Fortunately it appears that Keisha has taken it well (Thanks to your timely warning to her).

But you could have cost the Forum one of its most prized - if only recently - members.

What a disaster that would have been...

A good example is as follows. There you are in a space station circling the earth. You can see the bend in the horizons and somebody turns to you and says, "the eatth is flat".

Given that you are looking at the curve of the earth you realise right away the intent of the comment as being a joke.

Also all humour is not slapstick. There are way more forms than that. While a pratfall may be funny to some it is not so to others. As in fact is true of all humour.

But the main thing about this thread is not what St.S said and not how people reacted to it. The main thing as I see it is that he was tried and executed without recourse to a trial. If in doubt of what he meant might it not have been wiser and fairer to ask him first what he meant before condeming him?

Fear and hatred of what is not understood fully has happened so much in the history of humanity. Take as but one example the Salem witch trials.

Maybe Keisha will tell us if it's real or not.  Seems to me MSN e-mailed me the next morning to tell me I'd been accepted as a member.  They have tons of pictures of big gals, mainly a BBW site (lots of big bellies) and a message board as well.
