She does look a bit round faced now, but we are finding out that many of the DVD's as well as still photos, BOTH have an incorrect aspect ratio.
Who's this "we"?
No disrespect, but . . . this is ludicrous. Any incorrect aspect ratio in DVDs would be revealed as soon as Yulia (or anyone -- or anything) turned 90 degrees off vertical -- or even 45 degrees. Add in a moving camera, itself twisting, and you would be constantly revealing the incorrect aspect ratio. Yulia's face would appear to bloat every time she bent over -- and then pop back to normal when she stood up again.
If you have proof, preferably in the form of Yulia holding two yardsticks at right angles, so that we can judge diverging scales, I'd welcome it.
More to the point, what would be the
purpose of changing the aspect ratio in the first place? And would this hold true for the video releases? Unless they were shot digitally and changed after the fact, then we're looking at some pretty special anamorphic lenses -- which I doubt are readily available. (Unless someone has a secret stash of 1950s Cinemascope equipment.)
